FAQ:
Q: My child is just an infant why do I need to sign the Transportation Policy?
A: The transportation policy is for emergency purposes. Such as if the building needed to be evacuated, and we needed to move to the evacuation site, which is the YMCA, we would have permission to transport the child at that time, or if the child needed medical attention and our vehicle was the quickest route to the the child to such help, we would have permission. If your child goes on a fieldtrip, then you will be asked to sign a seperate permission slip.
Q: Is it necessary to fill out all the forms?
A: Yes
Q: Will I need to provide sunscreen if I want sunscreen applied to my child before they go outside?
A: Yes
Q: What is the purpose of the photography slip?
A: We will take pictures of children to hang on walls, make art projects, etc. We will also have pictures taken of the children by professional photographers for class pictures and individual pictures. Usually, the professionals that take pictures will not charge a sitting fee; therefore, you will only be financially responsible for your child's pictures if you order them.
Q: I make too much money to qualify for the food program; do I still have to fill it out?
A: Yes. We have to have a form filled out for each child/family in order to be part of this program.
